September 24th - Begin mailing Vote-by-Mail Ballots

October 5th - Registration book closing (last day to register or change parties)

October 19th - Early voting begins 10:00am - 6:00pm

October 24th - Last day to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot

October 31st - Early voting ends

November 3rd - Election Day 7:00am - 7:00pm

Six Cities to Hold Elections November 5

Tavares, FL  - Alan Hays, Lake County Supervisor of Elections, announces the schedule for 2019 municipal elections.

On November 5th, 2019, the town of Montverde will conduct a municipal election to allow registered voters of the township to vote on a charter referendum. The cities of Clermont, Mascotte, Minneola, Mount Dora, and Tavares will conduct a municipal election on that same date as well.  Supervisor of Elections Alan Hays is advising voters who live within the city/town limits of these municipalities to double-check their voter information cards for current precinct information prior to heading to the polls.  Voters may also visit the Lake County Supervisor of Elections website ( and click the Find My Precinct tab for up-to-date precinct and polling location information.

All voters wishing to vote on November 5 must be registered no later than October 7, 2019!!
