Lake County Supervisor of Elections Announces Results of the Recount for Tavares City Council Seat 4

November 8, 2019

Tavares, FL- Lake County Supervisor of Elections, Alan Hays, announced today that the recount for Tavares City Council Seat 4 has been completed. “This morning the city of Tavares Canvassing Board completed the machine recount and the manual recount of the ballots cast in the November 5, 2019 Tavares election. The resulting totals indicate that Mr. Troy Singer won the election”, commented Hays.

Total votes cast were 2,725. Votes for Mr. Singer were 1,306 and votes for Mr. Price were 1,301. The official results are posted on the website, www.lakevotes.com and will be reported to the Florida Division of Elections.
