To the voters of Howey-in-the-Hills,

We in our office understand and certainly share your concern for health and for the scheduled election. Even though it may be difficult to believe, I don’t have the authority to postpone the election. That power is reserved for the Governor. I have been in contact with his staff both last night and today. I have sent him a letter outlining some options and seeking his prompt reply.

Precinct 63, whose polling place, was previously located at the Mid Florida Lakes Clubhouse, has been moved to Grand Island Baptist Church, whose address is 13229 CR-44, Grand Island, FL.
